CULVERT INSTALLATION
Setting culverts under driveways and field crossings. Pipe sized to the drainage area, bedded on compacted base, with headwalls or riprap where the slope wants to erode.

TYPICAL PROJECT PROCESS
- Size the culvert based on the ditch and any county spec.
- Cut the trench and prepare a compacted bed.
- Set the pipe to grade with enough slope to keep it draining.
- Backfill in lifts and compact.
- Add riprap or a headwall if the outlet would erode.
