TREE & STUMP REMOVAL

Pulling trees and grinding or extracting stumps with an excavator and skid steer. Bigger and faster than chainsaw-and-stump-grinder work — sized for fence lines, lots, and storm cleanup.

COMMON USES

  • Yard trees too close to structures for a dozer
  • Stump fields after logging or storms
  • Fence-line cleanup
  • Removing trees before pad or driveway work

TYPICAL PROJECT PROCESS

  1. Drop the tree if it's still standing, or work the existing stump.
  2. Extract the stump with the excavator or grind it down.
  3. Backfill and rake the hole flat.

EQUIPMENT USED

  • Excavator with thumb
  • Skid steer
  • Dump truck

COMMON QUESTIONS

Do you grind stumps or pull them?

Both. Pulling is faster and cleaner if there's room to maneuver; grinding is the option in tight yards or near utilities.
